Antoine Leperlier,
glass sculptor

Glass, "fluid," reflects the passing of time, a duration that cannot be grasped, while ceramic materials, "fixed," refer to the crystallized time of memory. For me, it is about listening, not to the earth, not to glass as materials, but as materials, because it is in the process by which they are shaped that they reveal the meaning they carry. For me, they hold an idea of time that I seek to uncover.

Antoine Lepelier's exhibition DONNER FORMES AU TEMPS until December 1st at Musée du Verre François Décorchement.
