A+A Cooren

In search of objects that immerse us in the moment; we are looking for a way to keep all traces of a good implementation.

What we're proud of:

We are in the process of developing with a moulder and a caster, a collection of "Tiss-Tiss" furniture, composed of aluminum plates which show the imprint, on both sides, of the weft of a hand-woven fabric.

Yabané

4-drawer chest

This piece of furniture is inspired by a traditional Japanese graphic motif, Yabané (arrow in Japanese).
Drawers open in two directions, allowing it to be used in the middle of a room as a divider of space; without the volume being cut off visually.
Each Yabané drawer is a module so that we can compose the height as desired.
We have designed so that the grain of the wood continues all around the furniture, between the facades of drawers and end parts.

By this linearity of the wires, this piece of furniture is a demonstration of living material and respect for wood.
The quality of solid wood is a crucial parameter in designing this piece of furniture.

This is a self-published piece, handcrafted by Walnutsgroove in Belgium.

Materials:
Yabané is made of noble and responsible materials: Solid ash, 3 steel sheets 100% recycled between the modules, mat water-based varnish finish.

Size:
L 177 x P 53 x H 69 cm
